According to a recent report, the 2015 Chrysler 200 will be built alongside another midsize sedan which will replace the Dodge Avenger.
Chrysler has revealed new details about the 2015 200.
At a recent press event, the company confirmed the redesigned sedan will go into production early next year at their plant in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The model will reportedly be built alongside another midsize sedan which will replace the Dodge Avenger. This is interesting to note as the Avenger wasn't expected to get a replacement.
Chrysler also confirmed the models will be built on the CUSW platform that underpins the Dodge Dart and Jeep Cherokee. This means engines could include a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 184 bhp (137 kW) and a 3.2-liter V6 with 267 bhp (199 kW).
Little else is known about the models but previous reports have indicated the 2015 Chrysler 200 will be introduced at the North American International Auto Show and be about the same size as the Audi A4.
