The internet has been buzzing with rumors that Dodge could be eliminated, so SRT CEO Ralph Gilles has finally decided to weigh in on the speculation.

Responding to a question on Instagram, of all places, Gilles said "Dodge is here to stay! It may get more focused going forward but not killed!"

The "more focused" lineup is expected to be significantly smaller as previous reports have indicated the Avenger and at least other two models will be axed or transferred to Chrysler. Nothing is official but the two leading candidates are the Durango and Grand Caravan.

If all three models are dropped, Dodge would have a limited lineup that consists of the Dart, Charger, Journey and next-generation Challenger / Barracuda (assuming it isn't rebranded as an SRT model).
