Spania GTA has brought the 2013 Spano at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, following the car's public debut a few months ago at Geneva Motor Show.
It represents a revision of the original model which came out in 2009 and comes with a huge V10 8.4-liter supercharged engine churning 900 HP (662 kW) and an electronically-capped torque of 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm). Power is channeled via a seven-speed automatically sequential gearbox or through a seven-speed manual. 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) takes less than three seconds while top speed stands at 217 mph (350 km/h).
Limited to just 99 units, the 2013 GTA Spano weighs 2,976 lbs (1,350 kg) thanks to a carbon fiber body. It has been fitted with 19-inch front / 20-inch rear wheels shod in Pirelli tires. Other highlights of the model include front/rear double wishbone suspension, electronically-regulated wing, multi self-adjusting shock absorbers and an AP Racing brake system with carbon ceramic ventilated discs measuring 380mm.
