The 2014 Land Rover Discovery facelift has been spied in the Alps next to the current model.

Upcoming changes for the revised model include tweaks to the headlights, more angled fog lights and a redesigned front grille. In addition, Land Rover will also be making some design modifications to the side mirrors which will have built-in turn signals, while the rear will retain the current model's looks.

Judging by the test equipment mounted by the front grille, the 2014 Land Rover Discovery facelift is likely to get new engines or at least some revisions to the current lineup, including for the turbocharged 3.0-liter SDV6 diesel which depending on version is currently offered with 210 bhp (156 kW) and 255 bhp (190 kW).

Land Rover could decide to reveal the facelifted Discovery / LR4 in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
