The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has been officially rated by EPA at 30 mpg hwy while running in Eco mode.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) says the C7 will do 17 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway in normal mode, but if Eco mode is activated then it will do an extra mpg on the highway. Once enabled on the seven-speed manual gearbox model, Eco mode turns on Active Fuel Management which will deactivate four of the cylinders during light engine loads.

For the version equipped with the automatic transmission, Active Fuel Management is enabled in all drive modes and is turned off only when the driver engages the manual shift mode by using the paddles mounted on the steering wheel. EPA has not released fuel economy numbers for the Corvette Stingray fitted with the six-speed auto.
