Last week's report was accurate as Opel/Vauxhall have officially confirmed the Monza Concept for Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

The concept will be showcasing the brand's upcoming design philosophy and also represents a "vision for the company's future". These teaser photos show a stunning concept with a sculpted hood, a low stance, big alloy wheels and front grille, along with small headlamps. This design matches the spy photos we published at the beginning of the year.

There are no details about a production version to revive the Calibra or Monza nameplates, but we do know the concept will focus on efficiency and connectivity which will be a priority for Opel/Vauxhall during development of future models.
