Nissan is reportedly developing an urban electric vehicle that will be more advanced than the Renault Twizy.

Speaking to Automotive News Europe, Nissan's head of product planning said the model will combine agility of a motorcycle with the all-weather protection of a car. Etienne Henry went on to say "The Twizy is also trying to combine these, but we think there are optimizations possible with this kind of vehicle."

Little else is known about the model but it could borrow some cues from the distinctive Land Glider concept which could lean into corners like a motorcycle. Henry declined to confirm Nissan was working on a production version of the Land Glider but said "That was a very interesting concept with very challenging and meaningful technology."
