Honda is allegedly taking into consideration a Type S version of the upcoming Civic Tourer.

Last week we heard the Civic Tourer will come with a "significantly" bigger boot compared to its rivals. Now, it seems Honda is already planning a more powerful Type S version which will be launched after the highly anticipated Civic Type R. If green-lighted for production, the Honda Civic Tourer Type S will receive a lower and stiffer suspension, together with a Type R-inspired body kit and wider tracks.

The regular Civic Tourer will make its public debut in production form in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The Civic Type R is due in 2015 and will be followed shortly by this alleged Civic Tourer Type S if everything goes according to plan.
