The Koenigsegg Agera S is now the most expensive car sold in Singapore after Ms Angela Tan paid 5.3M SGD (about 4.2M USD). It was officially revealed on June 14 at the Ritz Carlton Millenia hotel to 200 VIPs and guests who attended a private lunch.
The 2013 Agera S is powered by a twin-turbo V8 5.0-liter mill rated at 1,040 bhp (775 kW) at 7,100 rpm and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque at 4,100 rpm. It takes 2.9 seconds to perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint, while 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) is done in 7.9 seconds en route to a top speed of more than 248.5 mph (400 km/h). The supercar will need just 12.8 seconds to perform the 0-200kmh-0 run and 22.7 seconds for the 0-300kmh-0 procedure.
With a power-to-weight ratio of 1.24 bhp / kg, the Agera S has a 44:56 weight distribution and an 80-liter fuel capacity. It's 4293mm long, 1996mm wide and 1120mm tall, with a 2662mm wheelbase. Power is transferred to wheels via a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox and an electronic differential. It rides on carbon fiber 19-inch front and 20-inch rear alloys shod in bespoke Michelin Supersport tires, while stopping power is provided by ventilated ceramic discs.
