Essentially a rebadged version of the Chevrolet Malibu, the Australian version can be had with a 2.4-liter gasoline engine producing 167 HP (123 kW) and 166 lb-ft (225 Nm) of torque or with a 2.0-liter diesel generating 160 HP (118 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm). These two engines are connected to a six-speed automatic gearbox.

It can be ordered in either a CD or CDX trim level and comes as standard with 17-inch alloys, cruise control, automatic headlamps, rear-view parking camera and Bluetooth. Opt for the CDX variant and you also get heated and leather-wrapped front seats, 18-inch rims, LED rear lamps, chrome exterior accents and dual-zone climate control.

Pricing kicks off from 28,490 AUD for the gasoline CD model and continues with its diesel counterpart at 32,490 AUD. The CDX gasoline variant is 31,990 AUD, while the CDX diesel will set you back at least 35,990 AUD.
