The model won't go on sale until August but Chris was able to take the latest 911 GT3 for a quick spin and he was impressed with Porsche's work. Power comes from a 3.8-liter, 6-cylinder boxer engine producing 475 HP (349 kW) and 324 lb-ft (438 Nm). This mill is mated to a seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox which sends the 911 GT3 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 195 mph (315 km/h).

Priced from 137,303 EUR in Germany (VAT included), the 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 is the firm's first model to get an active rear wheel steering system. The German marque says it's capable of lapping the Nürburgring Nordschleife in less than 7 minutes and 30 seconds.
