Porsche has announced the 911 50th Anniversary Edition will be available in the United States from 124,100 USD, without the 950 USD destination charge.

Only 1963 units will be made but Porsche didn't say how many of them will reach stateside. Interestingly, the U.S.-spec 911 special edition will have a power kit and Sport Chrono Package increasing output to 430 HP (316 kW) as opposed to the European variant which has 400 HP (294 kW).

Porsche says 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) will take 4.2 seconds or 3.8s when fitted with the PDK, en route to a top speed of 186 mph (185 mph for PDK-equipped model).

It will be shown to the public in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show and is set to arrive at Porsche dealers this fall.
