Caterham is reportedly developing an entry-level Seven that will be introduced this fall.

Little is known about the model but Autocar says it will have retro-inspired styling and a new Euro-6 compliant engine. Caterham CEO Graham Macdonald also added "The new entry-level Seven will be uncomplicated, easy to run and, most important of all, an intuitive and exciting drive.”

The car is expected to go on sale towards the end of the year and cost less than £17,000 ($25,690 / €19,875).
