A special 2009 Maserati Quattroporte Shooting Brake will be auctioned on Saturday by RM Auctions.

It was built by Touring Superleggera for former Ducati president Carlo Bonomi and represents one of the four ever made. The car has a 3064mm (120.6 inches) wheelbase and is powered by a V8 4.2-liter engine producing 395 bhp (294 kW) linked to a six-speed automatic transmission. It benefits from hydraulic disc brakes, an independent suspension with coil springs, double wishbones and anti-roll bars.

The car made its debut in 2009 at the Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza wearing metallic forest green paint finish with gold coach stripes and 19-inch forged Borrani Bimetal alloy wheels. Other changes compared to the standard model include two seven-inch headrest-mounted monitors, a refrigerator and twin tilting rear seats with longitudinal adjustment. Oddly, there's also a concealed rear gun compartment which can accommodate two shotguns.
