Mercedes-Benz has released a new video starring the 2014 E63 AMG 4MATIC S-Model Wagon in which AMG Product Manager Rob Moran provides details about the hot estate.

Under the hood M-B has installed a twin-turbo V8 5.5-liter engine unleashing an impressive 585 HP (430 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft). As a reminder, the regular AMG model churns 557 HP (410 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft). Aside from the additional horsepower, the S-Model (both sedan and wagon) comes with a rear differential lock.

The wagon seen here can sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds (3.6 for sedan) on its way to a top speed of 186 mph (299 km/h), while offering room for five people and 57.4 cubic feet of cargo space. The engine is connected to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT seven-speed gearbox with four modes: C (Controlled Efficiency), S (Sport), S+ (Sport Plus) and M (Manual). Those willing to break the bank can order the optional ceramic brake system which brings perforated and ventilated 360mm brake discs with red calipers.

Other changes over the regular AMG version include a silver chrome finish for the front splitter and rear trim strip, along with ten-spoke 19-inch wheels shod in 255/35 R19 front and 285/30 R19 rear rubbers.

The range-topping S-Model sedan and wagon will hit the market next month.
