Alfa Romeo has published several new photos of the 4C Launch Edition wearing an Alfa Red paintjob (Carrara White also available).
Introduced in early March at 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition will be limited to 1,000 units and has a starting price of 60,000 EUR. It comes with a carbon fiber aerodynamic package including door mirror covers and spoiler, along with bi-LED headlights, rear darkened aluminum diffuser and 18-inch front / 19-inch rear alloys.
There's also a rear anti-roll bar, racing exhaust, tweaked suspension, BMC air cleaner, leather/fabric seats with Alcantara, numbered carbon badge and specially-painted brake calipers. This Alfa Red variant also comes with red stitching on the steering wheel, handbrake, handles and seats.
Power comes from a four-cylinder, 1750cc engine delivering 240 HP (176 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) transferred to rear wheels via a six-speed, dual-clutch transmission and a limited-slip differential. 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) takes 4.5 seconds, en route to a top speed in excess of 155 mph (250 km/h).
