The Tesla Model S apparently has a secret menu which hints at upcoming features the EV is likely to receive.

From this video (which includes several screenshots as well) uploaded by DragTimes we find out Tesla plans to offer several extra apps, such as Sketch Pad, Image Viewer and Scheduler. More importantly, systems like lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control and blind spot detection are also on their way. Another novelty would have to be the diagram depicting battery management status, cooling and charging systems.

In order to access the secret menu, the owner of a Model S has to hold down for five seconds the Tesla logo in the top middle of the 17-inch touchscreen display. It will prompt for a password to grant access to those hidden menus. There aren't any details about the password and it's highly advisable not to fiddle with that section since many things can go wrong.
