McLaren has officially launched a new interactive website for the P1.

Dubbed "Designed by Air," the website invites users to explore how the P1 is "born from raw metallic and carbon elements and is crafted by airflow." Following an impressive introductory video, the site descends into a fairly traditional, albeit short, experience where users can learn more about the car and its design.

As a refresher, the P1 features a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine and an electronic motor that develops 179 HP (132 kW) and 192 lb-ft (260 Nm) of torque. This setup enables the car to have a combined maximum output of 916 HP (674 kW) and 663 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque which enables it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than three seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).

Production will be limited to 375 units and pricing starts at £866,000 ($1,340,740 / €1,025,545).
