Mercedes-Benz has announced a series of updates for the UK-spec 2013 SL-Class.
SL 350 and SL 500 will be available as AMG Sport models bringing more standard equipment with a combined value of 6,625 GBP. Added goodies include the AMG Sports Package for the interior and exterior, Parktronic with Active Park Assist and an electric sunroof.
We should also mention the five-spoke 19-inch AMG alloys, body-colored boot lip, better braking system for SL 350, 10mm lowered sports suspension, along with AMG front/rear aprons and side skirts. The 7G-Tronic Plus gearbox has an "S" mode, while inside there are AMG floor mats, sports steering wheel, black fabric roof lining, sports seats with perforated leather and various other tweaks.
The Mercedes-Benz SL 63 AMG also gains Parktronic with Active Park Assist and an electric panoramic glass sunroof – valued at 1,500 GBP. The SL 65 AMG will remain the same as before.
Prices start from 69,960 GBP for SL 350 AMG Sport, followed by SL 500 AMG Sport at 79,970 GBP and the SL 63 AMG priced from 110,785 GBP. Production will commence next month.
