Jaguar's design chief Ian Callum says the styling of their entry-level sedan will be "off-center" in comparison to other models in this segment.

Scheduled to hit the market in 2016, Jaguar's baby sedan will utilize JLR's Premium Lightweight Architecture which will also underpin next-gen XF and XJ. Ian Callum added "whatever we do on the styling front, we have to be careful that it doesn't exclude a large proportion of the potential customer base."

Internally known as X760, the new model could receive the XS moniker and will have an aluminum body construction with smaller turbocharged engines under the hood. Apparently Jaguar's future target will be to provide low-emission, yet still fun to drive cars.
