The 2014 Range Rover Sport was introduced less than a month ago and it looks like the company is moving ahead with plans to develop an RS variant.

Recently snapped by our spy photographers, the high-performance model is distinguished by an aggressive front bumper with larger air intakes. There doesn't appear to be any other styling changes but the crossover will likely have a sportier suspension and beefier brakes.

Power will likely be provided by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 550 HP (405 kW) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque. Considering the Range Rover Sport Supercharged - which has a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine with 510 HP (375 kW) - accelerates from 0-60 mph in 5.0 seconds, expect the RS variant to do the same task in approximately 4.8 seconds.
