Sport Auto has tested the Audi R8 V10 Plus on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Driven by Horst von Saurma, the R8 V10 Plus was able to post a lap time of 7 minutes, 45 seconds. This means the car was faster than the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, but not quick enough to beat the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
As we have previously reported, the R8 V10 Plus is a lighter and more powerful version of the Audi R8 V10. It has a 5.2-liter FSI V10 engine that develops 550 HP (404 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 317 km/h (197 mph).
