Maserati has announced plans to team up with the Ermenegildo Zegna menswear company to create a limited edition Quattroporte.

Designed to celebrate the company's centennial in 2014, the Quattroporte Limited Edition will be "reinterpreted and customized with new colors, materials and trims." Pictures were not released, but Maserati says the model will feature fabrics produced at the historic Lanificio Zegna wool mill in Trivero, Italy.

Production will be limited to 100 units and a concept will be introduced at an upcoming auto show.

In 2015, Maserati models will be offered with a "whole range of new optional trims by Zegna." A year later, the partnership will expand to allow customers to order "tailor-made solutions" such as exclusive colors and trim.
