McLaren is celebrating the opening of McLaren Manama by releasing a second batch of P1 pictures (first batch here) on the Bahrain International Circuit.

Designed to highlight the company's racing pedigree, the photos show the model on the same track that will host the 2013 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. As part of the tie-in, the Manama dealership will be displaying the McLaren MP4-25 race car that Jenson Button used in 2010.

As refresher, the McLaren P1 has a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine that backed up by an electronic motor.  This setup enables the car to a combined maximum output of 916 HP (674 kW) and 663 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. This allows the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than three seconds, before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).

Only 375 McLaren P1s will be built and pricing starts at £866,000.
