McLaren announced on its official Facebook page an "online interactive experience" with the P1 is due next month.
It states the P1 was "designed by air" with "Formula 1 technology" and is "the most aerodynamically advanced car in the world." This online interactive experience will be available on PCs and tablets in May. We don't know for sure what to expect but it seems this will give users the possibility to take a very close look at the P1 via a 3D tour or something similar.
As a reminder, the long-awaited McLaren P1 is powered by a twin-turbo, mid-mounted V8 3.8-liter engine rated at 737 HP (542 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque. Together with an electric motor producing 179 HP (132 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque, the supercar has an impressive combined output of 916 HP (674 kW) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft). With the electric motor turned on, the McLaren P1 will reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in less than three seconds and an electronically-capped top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h).
Production will be limited to 375 units, each priced at 866,000 GBP.
