Renault has taken the wraps off the 2013 Laguna lineup.

Looking modestly revised, the sedan and estate adopt a new front end with LED daytime running lights. The models can also be equipped with restyled 16-inch aluminum wheels.

Interior changes are limited but include an R-Link infotainment system with a seven-inch touch screen display. Bose variants also gain updated upholstery, gloss black trim and exclusive 17-inch alloy wheels.

Engine options carryover but certain powerplants can be connected to a new dual-clutch EDC transmission. When connected to the 1.5 dCi 110 engine, the Laguna can average 4.3 L/100km (54.7 mpg US / 65.6 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions as low as 113 g/km.

The Laguna is also available with a new "4Control chassis" system. It's essentially a four-wheel steering system that promises to deliver "dynamic handling, greater maneuverability and unmatched steering precision."

The 2013 Laguna lineup will go on sale in Europe later this month.
