Last month a spy photo emerged on the Internet and at first it was believed it depicted either a hotter version of the Ferrari F12 or the Spider variant. Several days later a report indicated the car spotted was a next-gen California with a twin-turbo V8 engine.

Now, the car seen in this spy video could very well be the next generation of the California powered by a V8 twin-turbo engine. Its output should be between the 458 Italia and the 458 Monte Carlo (Challenge Stradale / Scuderia). Chassis and some of the tech are expected to be carried over from the current model, while its styling is believed to be improved.

The second generation of the Ferrari California will probably be unveiled in March next year at the Geneva Motor Show and will go on sale in Europe in the second quarter, followed by the United States in the fourth quarter.
