Codemasters has released a lengthy video for GRID 2, sharing gameplay footage and details about the multiplayer mode.

Multiplayer will provide support for two-player split-screen, up to 12 players for online racing and a wide array of game modes like endurance, drift, race, face off, time attack, checkpoint and touge. The player has the possibility of uploading highlights on YouTube and RaceNet straight from the game. After that, these can be shared on Facebook and Twitter.

Codemasters says GRID 2 will provide player grouping so that all races will be fair and with players of similar levels. RaceNet will be accessible from PC, tablet or mobile device and is set to receive dedicated applications once the game is out.
