BMW Japan has introduced a limited-edition 5-Series Exclusive Sport available for sedan and Touring variants.

Even though the 5-Series facelift is just around the corner, the Bavarian marque has decided to launch a special edition in Japan which will be limited to 300 units. These are available with a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine (523i) and a 2.0-liter diesel (523d).

This special edition comes with more standard equipment which normally would be available at an additional cost. Some of the added goodies include 19-inch alloy wheels, three-spoke M steering wheel, contoured sports seats and an M body kit with bespoke side skirts and bumpers.

The cars can be ordered in white or carbon-black, with Cinnamon Brown leather covering the lower section of the dashboard, door panels and seats. Both benefit from a better sound system, a head-up display, an "Exclusive Sport" plaque and an elegant black piano trim.

The BMW 5-Series Exclusive Sport has a starting price of 7,190,000 yen (about 72,000 USD) and goes up to 7,490,000 yen (75,200 USD).
