Lancia has launched a new Elefantino trim level for the Ypsilon available from 10,450 EUR.

It's the new entry level variant of the model and is targeted to the younger crowd given its low price tag. It can be ordered in one of the following colors: Neve White, Sabbia Beige, Pietra Grey, Aurora Purple, Turquoise and Turquoise/Vulcano Black two-tone – with all of them matched to a glossy black tailgate. Fuchsia details adorn the door mirror covers, with body-colored door handles and original-colored wheel hub caps.

Inside it has leather steering wheel and gear knob, black fabric seats with fuchsia stitching and chrome finishes for the dashboard. Standard equipment includes electric front windows, door opening remote control, height-adjustable driver seat, 50/50 split rear seat, climate control, 15-inch steel wheels and radio with CD/MP3. Safety technology encompasses ABS with EBD, front/side airbags and ISOFIX attachments.

The Lancia Ypsilon Elefantino can be ordered with the base 1.2-liter offering 69 HP (51 kW), along with a 0.9-liter Turbo TwinAir producing 85 HP (62 kW), a 1.3-liter MultiJet rated at 95 HP (70 kW), as well as a 1.2-liter 69 HP LPG and a 0.9-liter Turbo TwinAir Methane developing 80 HP (59 kW) which is available from 16,500 EUR.
