The Chevrolet Volt has been on the market for a few years, so the company has released some of their findings about how the model is doing.

According to Chevrolet's data, Volt owners are regularly meeting or exceeding the EPA-estimated electric-only range of 98 MPGe. Furthermore, owners who charge their car on a regular basis are traveling approximately 900 miles (1,448 km) between fill ups which result in an annual savings of $1,300 (€1,010) when compared to a conventionally-powered model. In extreme cases, Chevrolet says some owners - like Brent Waldrep of Auburn Hills, Michigan - have traveled more than 23,500 miles (37,820 km) with only having to stop for gas twice.

The Volt's owner satisfaction is also among the best in the industry as more than 9 out of 10 buyers would purchase the model again.
