The base ES model has power windows and locks, air conditioning and a six-speaker sound system. Mid-range Outlander SE variant begins at 23,795 USD and comes equipped with 18-inch wheels, 6.1-inch touch panel display, heated front seats, HD Radio audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, FAST Key passive entry system with push-button engine start on/off switch and FUSE Handsfree Link System.

Range-topping GT model costs 27,795 USD and adds HID headlamps, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, SiriusXM, wood trim, rain-sensing windshield wipers and the proprietary Super All-Wheel Control.

Engine choices include a 4-cylinder, 2.4-liter unit with 166 bhp (124 kW) and 219 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque, along with a V6 3.0-liter generating 224 bhp (167 kW) and 291 Nm (215 lb-ft). The 4-cylinder mill works together with a CVT, while the V6 is linked to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
