The 2014 Cadillac CTS has been partially revealed ahead of its debut this week at the New York Auto Show.

Looking more aggressive than the outgoing version and with an elegant LED arrangement, the revised CTS has already been confirmed with a V6 3.6-liter twin-turbo engine producing 420 bhp (313 kW) and 583 Nm (430 lb-ft) of torque. Linked to a new 8-speed automatic gearbox, the car will do 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in about 4.6s on its way to a top speed of approximately 170 mph (274 km/h).

Other engine choices will include a naturally-aspirated V6 3.6-liter with 321 bhp (239 kW) and a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged mill outputting 272 bhp (203 kW). Needless to say, a V8-powered CTS-V is also planned.
