Ferrari drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa unveiled in Melbourne last weekend an F1 car made entirely out of Lego.

The Formula 1 Ferrari car is a 1:1 scale model of the firm's 2011 contender sitting on authentic Pirelli racing rubbers and featuring a real seat. Even the high-tech F1 steering wheel is made from Lego bricks, as well as the whole interior.

This presentation was part of a Ferrari/Shell promotion which also consists of Ferrari Lego kits available in some parts of the world. These include six models such as the 250 GT Berlinetta, 458 Italia, F40, F150 Italia, FXX and the Scuderia Ferrari Truck.

As a reminder, in the first race of the 2013 season Fernando Alonso grabbed second place, while his teammate Felipe Massa finished the race fourth. Kimi Raikkonen took the win in his Lotus.
