Dacia is not expected to launch a new model in the next 18 months, but a lineup expansion will come after that.

The most recent model launched by the Romanian company is the second-gen Logan MCV which we saw last week at the 83rd Geneva Motor Show. This will be the last new model for at least a year and a half as Renault chief Carlos Tavares said "it is now time for us to milk the cow".

Despite Tavares' statement, Renault product planning Tom Lane hinted at a rival for the Volkswagen Up! / Skoda Citigo / Seat Mii, along with a larger sedan slotted above the Logan to compete with the Skoda Octavia. He mentions "neither would be a stretch for us within that remit."

We should however see a Duster facelift launched within this 18 month timeframe.
