The BMW 4-Series GranCoupe has been spied once again ahead of a possible unveiling set for late this year.

Based on the upcoming 4-Series, the GranCoupe version will gain two rear doors and a set of usable rear seats. This will be possible thanks to a slightly longer wheelbase which will improve interior space.

It will follow the footsteps of the larger 6-Series GranCoupe with the engines and transmission taken from the standard 4-Series Coupe which will be entering producing in Munich this July. Before the GranCoupe comes out, BMW will launch the 4-Series Convertible which is set to enter production phase in November.

Engine lineup of the 4-Series GranCoupe will probably consist of two gasoline and two diesels, topped by an M4 GranCoupe set to get a turbocharged six-cylinder engine producing 450 HP (331 kW).
