As promised, Rinspeed has introduced in Geneva this week its peculiar microMAX "networked swarm car".
This is an all-electric vehicle motivated by a forklift drive system. The car is 3.7 meters long, 2.2 meters tall and comes with an acoustic pedestrian safety system and Plexiglas-made window panes. The interior cabin has enough room for "three ergonomic workspaces" and a VDO instrument panel boasting a massive 19-inch HD touchscreen with a multi-dimensional user interface.
Other goodies inside include a coffee maker, refrigerator, NFC support and other connectivity options. If it will be put into production and based on powertrain and features, the Rinspeed microMAX will cost anywhere between 5,000 EUR and 10,000 EUR.
