German tuner Startech has presented its customized 2013 Range Rover in Geneva this week.
Thanks to an SD 30S package for the SUV's 3.0-liter LR-TDV6 diesel, Startech's engineers were able to increase its output by 42 HP (31 kW) and 63 lb-ft (85 Nm) to 300 HP (221 kW) and 505 lb-ft (685 Nm). After making this improvement the new Range Rover will reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 7.3 seconds before hitting a top speed of 137 mph (220 km/h).
Matching the power hike is a new styling kit bringing a different front fascia with a built-in spoiler, LED fog lights and LED DRLs. The back reveals an updated bumper featuring a sporty diffuser, with other goodies available upon request like a suspension lowering module (down by 30mm), stainless steel exhaust system and a wide variety of 22-inch alloys.
For the interior the tuner can cover the seats with Alcantara and/or leather, while the rest of the cabin can get carbon fiber or exotic wood trims. An elegant yachting-like load floor is also available, along with illuminated scuff plates, aluminum pedals and electrically-folding rear tables which can have leather, carbon fiber or wood tops.
