Alpina has released today in Geneva the new B3 Bi-Turbo in both sedan and touring wagon versions.
Both of them share the same 3.0-liter, twin-turbo, straight-six engine producing 410 HP (310 kW) between 5,500 rpm and 6,250 rpm. This power unit has a peak torque of 598 Nm (442 lb-ft) at 3000 rpm and comes connected to a ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox powering the rear wheels.
The cars will perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 190 mph (306 km/h). Alpina says they return 30.9 mpg US (37.2 mpg UK or 7.6 liters / 100 km), while CO2 emissions are of 177 g/km.
