Automakers evoke humor & emotion for their Super Bowl spots [Videos]

Last night's game had its share of ups and downs, but who came out on top? The Baltimore Ravens, of course, but which automaker got the most bang for their buck?

With a 30 second spot costing approximately $4 (€2.9 / £2.5) million, the stakes were high as several brands fought for the attention of millions of Americans. Humor played a key part in several of the ads, but Chrysler stole the spotlight with a clip that sold an idea, not a product.

Dubbed "Farmer," the commercial for Ram evoked the words of Paul Harvey's "So God Made a Farmer” tribute. The moving speech was highlighted by pictures from renowned photographers William Albert Allard and Kurt Markus.  This combination helped to create a memorable spot that quickly become one of the most talked about ads of the Super Bowl.

So, do you think Farmer was the best commercial from this year Super Bowl? Feel free to tell us your favorites in the comments below.
