Bentley CEO Wolfgang Schreiber has declared the company is very close to a decision to make an ultra-luxury SUV.
Expected to arrive within the next three years, the SUV will share a platform with Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche. The production version will have less in common with the EXP 9 F Concept as it will resemble the rest of the firm's lineup. Wolfgang Schreiber added an eight-cylinder engine and possibly an optional W12 will be available. As previously reported, the SUV could get the Falcon moniker.
In regards to other models, Schreiber said the next-gen Continental GT Coupe, GTC Convertible and Flying Spur sedan will share their platform with Audi or Porsche when they arrive within the next five years. These new models will either use Porsche's MSB rear- and all-wheel drive architecture or Audi's modular longitudinal FWD and AWD platform.
