Mercedes has released the first picture of the 2014 E63 AMG, ahead of its debut at the North American International Auto Show.

Mercedes has already unveiled the 2014 E-Class sedan, coupe and convertible but now the company has released the first official picture of the updated E63 AMG.

Set to debut at the North American International Auto Show, the facelifted model has an aggressive front fascia with new headlights and a single bar grille. We can also except some minor interior changes including a revised instrument cluster, restyled air vents and updated trim.

Performance specifications haven't been released yet, but the model is expected to feature a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine that develops 550 HP (405 kW) and 531 lb-ft (719 Nm) of torque. While Mercedes was coy on numbers, they did confirm the availability of an optional 4MATIC all-wheel system.

The 2014 E-Class lineup will be unveiled on January 14th, so stay tuned for full details.
