First details about the production version of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento are now available.

Autovisie has read an article in an official Audi magazine where it says the production version will remain almost the same as the concept. The only modifications will be an increased stiffness and an improved overall safety of the structure.

The hi-tech interior will remain identical which means the shape of the seat and its position will be customized according to owner. As a reminder, the concept's seats are part of the carbon fiber monocoque structure and feature cushions on them for added comfort. The production version will feature two individual crash structures (front and rear) with quick-release points to allow an easy removal during maintenance.

The track-only hypercar will get the same drivetrain as the Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera, consisting of a V10 5.2-liter engine with 562 hp (419 kW) and 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) of torque sent to all four wheels through a 6-speed automated manual transmission. With a curb weight of only 2,202 lbs (999 kg), the Sesto Elemento will sprint to 62 mph in only 2.5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of more than 200 mph (322 km/h).

It will go into production sometime this year and will cost approximately 2M EUR (about 2.6M USD). Most likely, all 20 cars have already been reserved.
