This new set of Corvette C7 renderings gives us a glimpse of what we should expect to see next week.

Car and Driver has posted these three renders of the new Corvette, ahead of the car's official debut scheduled for January 13th. Over the last few months we've seen numerous teasers, digital renders and possible leaks, not to mention a variety of spy shots showing the new Vette.

Power will come from a new 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine featuring direct injection, continuously variable valve timing and an 11.5:1 compression ratio. General Motors has estimated an output of 450 hp (336 kW) and a maximum torque of 450 lb-ft (609 Nm). The Corvette C7 should be able to perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in less than 4 seconds and return an estimated 26+ mpg (31.2 mpg UK or 9 liters / 100 km ) on the highway.
