Chinese automaker Brilliance is preparing a new generation of its BS6 which looks exactly like the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift.

Set to be launched late next year in China, the BS6 (aka Zhunchi) is an unfortunate copy of the facelifted C-Class. When this will be out, Mercedes-Benz probably won't be too happy to see their design being reproduced and will most likely decide to litigate. There's no need for side-by-side photos of the two cars since right away we can tell the headlights, front grille and bumper design look virtually the same as on the German sedan.

Chinese automakers have a long tradition of copying designs of European brands that have led to many law suits. Although Chinese cars have been improved over the last few years, designers still copy from well-established manufacturers instead of coming up with something at least slightly original.
