Risden Engineering preparing heavily modified BMW M6

Risden Engineering has announced a tuning program for the latest BMW M6 Coupe.

Known as the Risden 6R, this is a project started by Sean Risden who founded the company in the United States. Their first offering is scheduled to make an appearance in Q1 2013 and has been envisioned as a car suitable not only for the streets, but also for track days.

For the moment there aren't a lot of details to share but we do know it will feature two rear spoilers. The first one is a duck-tail fixed spoiler while the other will be of the retractable kind for improving stability, traction and lowering body roll.

Other changes include an aero body kit, stripped-out interior cabin to lower curb weight, along with a fully adjustable suspension. It will also feature an interior roll cage that will boost the car's rigidity.
