Qoros flagship concept hints at the company's future

Qoros recently released several sketches of their upcoming sedan, but here's our first look at what a possible flagship could be like.

Created by Jamie Barrett in cooperation with the new Chinese auto maker, the concept was designed to show that the company can do “something fresh but with strong ties to the brand’s design philosophy.” As such, the model is a sporty coupe with dynamic lines and layered surfaces which push Qoros' design philosophy to "new limits.”

While the renderings have a strong resemblance to certain Saab concepts - notably the Phoenix  - they show a distinctive model with an elegant front fascia, a sculptured hood and bulging fenders. However, the real highlight is the car's panoramic glass roof which gracefully flows to into the tailgate.

The model isn't slated for production, but we could be seeing more of Barrett's designs in the future as recently landed a gig at Qoros.
