All future Jaguar models to have all-wheel drive option

Jaguar plans to offer an AWD option for all of its upcoming models, according to global brand director Adrian Hallmark.

When developing the 3.0-liter V6 engine, Jaguar took into consideration the strong demand from the United States and Canada for AWD cars. They already offer this combo for the XF and XJ models and they plan on engineering the AWD tech for all future models.

At the moment, only this engine is available with all-wheel drive because for other power units it would be too expensive to modify. This means that Jaguar will not offer such a model in the UK, a market where people rarely purchase a gasoline V6 sedan with AWD capabilities.

Hallmark added that although Jaguar can't make all current engines compatible with the all-wheel drive system, in the future they will be able to implement the tech in the entire lineup.
