Toyota Motorsport GmbH (TMG) has released new details about their Sports 650 concept.

Based on a pre-facelift Lexus LS, the Sports 650 is described as a "high-end limousine-sized car which is equally comfortable and exciting on the road as on track days." It features an aggressive body kit with a new front bumper, a revised grille and a ventilated hood. There's also carbon fiber side skirts and a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser and a four-tailpipe exhaust system.

Power is provided by a twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 650 HP (478 kW) and 710 Nm (524 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to an upgraded eight-speed automatic transmission which enables the 2070 kg (4,563 lb) sedan to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).

In a statement TMG President Yoshiaki Kinoshita said, "This is a truly remarkable car with incredible performance; we are looking forward to hearing the reaction of visitors to this showcase of TMG’s engineering capabilities.”
