Chrysler has announced plans to introduce the Town & Country S at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Designed to appeal to style-conscious soccer moms, the minivan features a unique exterior with a black chrome grille, tinted headlights and 17-inch alloy wheels with black accents.
Interior changes include piano black trim and black leather and cloth seats with grey contrast stitching. There's also a dual-screen Blu-Ray entertainment system with an HDMI input, two USB recharging ports, a 12v outlet and a 115v outlet.
Like the standard model, the S variant is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 283 bhp (211 kW) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission which enables the van to return 17 mpg city / 25 mpg highway (US). Despite the carryover powertrain, the suspension receives some tweaks for improved handling and comfort.
